Annemarie is in her fourth year at University of Cincinnati, majoring in Communication Design and minoring in entrepreneurship. Since she could hold a pencil, she has loved to create and use creativity in solving problems. She chose design because it is one of the most powerful tools in making social impact and giving people a voice. Annemarie is energized by empathetic design research, brainstorming sessions with peers, and the satisfaction of the final outcome and growth during that process. Her dream is to one day run her own design agency, focusing on telling stories that wouldn’t otherwise be heard. When she’s not in the studio or in front of the computer screen, she’s probably planning her next trip, drinking her third coffee of the day, or taking a run!
