ARTCENTER COLLEGE OF DESIGN
I was introduced to graphic design at the School of Art, Cambridge UK. I had quite a bundle of deeply felt, though as yet not fully articulated, ideas and interests relating to histories and mythologies. In the beginning I was more attracted to the far past of creative expression than the modern or the contemporary, my ambitions were then as they are now, to find a way to draw on these ancient influences in a way that could find relevance in contemporary graphic design. After graduation, I spent a year working in London and then applied for a masters program in the US because there were many areas of design that I wanted to question/investigate. Using traditional and modern creative languages, I employ a vast cultural heritage to nurture inspiration. Across all of my projects I aspire to crafting meaningful experiences via intelligent and disruptive narratives.
