DEPAUL UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF DESIGN
Gabrielle Fitzpatrick is a senior in the Graphic Design program at DePaul University’s School of Design (with a minor in User Experience Design too!) who loves to explore the friction between her creative flair and her more technical side. She believes that “no matter how old or young (or what kind of things you’re into) all ideas can be transformed into something creative.” Armed with this mentality, Gabrielle looks for ways to give back to her community through the power of knowledge – and, most importantly, through design. In 2018, she received the Brother Mike Hawkins Fellowship to support her creation of an innovative technology-based service project called the “You Wear It Well Youth Branding Workshop.” The mission was to highlight the importance of art and technology in order to help Chicago youth build their self-confidence through design.
