BALL STATE UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF ART
Johna Walls is a senior pursuing her BFA in Visual Communication at Ball State University. She is a typography enthusiast who is obsessed with curating color palettes and practicing her hand lettering. This curiosity of type has developed into a love for hand lettering. When suitable, she likes to incorporate handcrafted elements into her design work. Her passion for design has come from her love for tackling problems with a creative approach and finding a way to translate those ideas into visual solutions. To date, her favorite collaborative project she has worked on is the album design for Sutton Foster’s “Take Me to the World” music CD. When she is not working on a design project, you can find Johna listening to podcasts, planning her next adventure, or seeking out the best caramel macchiato.
