Kinzie Burke

NC STATE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF DESIGN

Kinzie Burke is a senior pursuing a BA in Graphic Design at NC State University College of Design. She is a multidisciplinary designer who believes in ideation and innovation at the core. She strives to use design to tell stories that constantly push boundaries and expectations. She continually seeks out opportunities to learn and foster her curiosity. During her college years and time working, she has come to value experience design, branding, collaboration, and the design thinking process. From a young age, Kinzie has been interested in visual design, craft, and storytelling in different facets. She enjoys travel, photography, laughing, and being surrounded by positive people.

I was born in Carmel NY and live currently live in Raleigh and Charlotte NC

Definitely a night owl, I get waves of inspiration at night and always have a notebook or notes app convenient next to my bed.

DO YOU PLAY A MUSICAL INSTRUMENT?
Tried to play the piano, ukulele, snare drum, even failed in percussion class in Middle School because I could not keep a beat.

IF YOU WERE NOT A DESIGNER, WHAT WOULD YOU BE?
I would be in business. I have an entrepreneurial spirit and I love collaborating with startups. I have a passion for searching for jobs for my friends, and for analyzing and looking for improvements in business spaces and work culture.
