SCHOOL OF VISUAL ARTS
I’m Laney and I’m a fourth-year design student at SVA in New York. I started doing art when I was young and focused mainly on fine art and illustration – but now I have a strong focus in graphic and interaction design. While living in New York and studying at SVA, I developed an interest in design that is not only visual or conceptual but also experiential and hopefully innovative. After my third year in school, I worked for R/GA as a design apprentice at their Los Angeles office. There, I worked on client projects like Nike and SanDisk and was able to see the agency process first hand. After my apprenticeship, I began my senior year where I am currently working on two portfolios. One in graphic design that explores the idea of Sustainability and one in interaction design that focuses on digital product.

I was born and raised in Dallas TX and I currently live in New York.
