CARNEGIE MELLON UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF DESIGN
Madison Headrick is a junior in the Communications Design program at Carnegie Mellon University. Madison grew up in Tianjin, China from the ages of 10 to 18. Living abroad was a formative time in her life and she accounts much of her design choices and visual style to her unique experience in China. Madison says that she has her creative family to thank for becoming a designer, it was their impact, love and encouragement that prompted her to apply to a design school. Madison is drawn to motion and color, and she believes that her role as a designer means not only making something visually and aesthetically pleasing, but also to put form, story, and meaning to it. Some things that Madison loves most are her family, good coffee, road trips, and Jesus.
