Watermark Design has updated the logo and packaging of Lodi CA-based Obsession wines. Intended to appeal to a younger demographic, the Charlottesville VA design firm fused an ode to the California sunshine into a unique typographic approach to create their new logo design. Says Creative Director Darcey Lacy: “We then developed this into a bold pattern to create a canned wine design you can be #obsessed with.” Among the design elements: the sleeve allows the aluminum to shine through in selected spots.
Graphic Designer on the project is Sarah Hade. Obsession is described as “a seductively aromatic wine with captivating aromas of gardenia, honeysuckle and star jasmine. Flavors … are tropical with peaches, pineapple, honeydew and a hint of ginger, finishing crisp and clean.”
