Turner Duckworth Serves Up BK Holiday Spirit

Burger King captures the holiday spirit with new product packaging.

Burger King’s product packaging captures the holiday spirit with festive and playful designs by San Francisco’s Turner Duckworth and illustrations by Jamie Nahs. The Winter Whopperland menu is available in the US, UK and much of the rest of the world.

Packaging uses recognizable Burger King design and graphics, but add some wry and humorous elements: coffee-cups feature tree lights, a red-nosed reindeer and mistletoe; Santa’s belly is inspired the Whopper sandwich wraps; holiday-themed characters are developed for the always-animated Chicken Fries boxes; and to-go bags declare a message of joy. Creative credits at the agency: Executive Creative Directors David Turner and Bruce Duckworth, Creative Director is Clem Halpin, and Designers Gavin Hurrell, Jessie Froggett, Jennie Spiller, Jamie Nash, Christian Eager.
