Paper Is In Fashion

The Art Directors Club of Denver sets April 6 as the date for its annual Paper Fashion Show, said to be the largest in the nation.

The 13th Annual ADCD Paper Fashion Show™ is an event that features ingenious design teams from diverse industries and backgrounds to showcase unique fashions created solely from paper.  The event opens on April 6 located at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts in the Seawell Grand Ballroom.

Since 2004, when the Paper Fashion Show™ was incepted, the Art Directors Club of Denver has donated over $40,000 from the event proceeds to support Downtown Aurora Visual Arts (DAVA), a local community organization providing art education programs in a positive environment for at-risk urban youth ages 3 to 17.

On the grand runway, a panel of judges will vote on the category winners who will receive individual recognition, along with trophies – made of paper, of course.  Among this year’s sponsors are Mohawk Paper, Neenah Paper, International Paper and Veritiv, among many others.
