X Marks The Spot For New IT Giant’s Logo

Siegel+Gale creates a new logo for $25 billion IT services provider DXC Technology. The logo uses the “X” to indicate the transformative nature of the client.

DXC Technology is a leading independent, end-to-end IT services provider, with an expected $25 billion in annual revenues and nearly 6,000 clients in 70 countries. Formed by a merger of Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and the Enterprise Services business of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, the resultant company now has a new brand and logo by Siegel+Gale.

At first glance, notes Anne Swan, group creative director Siegel+Gale, “the mark itself is incredibly simple. But the layers of meaning portray the mission of the newly formed company. There’s the literal representation of the name: DXC. Beyond that, the X conveys the transformative role of the company.” In addition to Anne Swan, credits go to Rafael Medina, associate creative director; Tien-Min Liao, senior designer; and Vivi Feng, designer.
