CUBOCX, a full service creative agency specializing in branding, advertising, and product design, adds André Matarazzo as partner/ECD. For more than 20 years Matarazzo has worked across a multitude of market segments and four continents. He’s held long-term leadership positions at some of the world’s most renowned global creative agencies including Flag, Sid Lee, SapientNitro and McCann-Erickson. Working alongside co-founder Matheus Barros, Matarazzo will focus on brand strategy and creative output, leveraging the agency’s proprietary Connected Creativity approach, a methodology inspired by the no-nonsense approach honed in the world of startups. Matarazzo comments: “At CUBOCX our creative product is perfectly tuned to disrupt culture, pre-aligned and pre-tested with the final audience, and closer to a mature launch than that delivered by traditional advertising models. Our approach, informed by Connected Creativity, enables brands to connect with their audience through rich data harvested with anthropological rigor. In my ECD role, I’m thrilled to be running sprints with clients, global talent, experts and consumers working together.” Matarazzo started his creative career in 1997 at McCann Brazil. He has amassed 46 international awards and is known for creating the digital shop Gringo, later selling the agency to WPP. In 2017 he started The Sexy Beast.
