FOUNDER & PRESIDENT, GILL FISHMAN ASSOCIATES, CAMBRIDGE MA
Gill Fishman is a nationally-recognized designer with a broad range of experience in all fields of design and communications including branding and identity, corporate, web, industrial, architecture, educational, and exhibition design. As a serial entrepreneur and the principal in numerous projects, he has a deep understanding of the variables that determine the viability and success of design in today’s markets. He is a co-founder of Margolis and Fishman/Architects; Rainboworld, a game-changing greeting card publisher; and the Ralph Lauren Jewelry Collection where he worked with Mr. Lauren to develop the first Polo jewelry collections. He is a also co-founder of the Water Music/Concert Cruise/JazzBoat, served on the original committee of The Great Boston Kite Festival, and was a founder of First Night, Inc, all three of which seek to enhance urban life. As an Associate in the Department of Visual and Environmental Studies at Harvard, he has been an educator as well as served on juries and as a visiting critic at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. In addition, Gill’s extensive Board memberships and volunteer work includes or included: the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; the New Center for Arts and Culture; the Museum of Fine Arts Council; the National Board of the American Technion Society; the Boston Preservation Alliance; the Boys & Girls Clubs; and the New England-Israel Business Council. Gill has a degree in Economics from Harvard College, a Masters in Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and has studied at the Harvard School of Education and MIT in photography with Minor White. His design office has been honored with more than 400 design awards.

Born in Boston, lived in Cambridge for 30 years and now live in Brookline.
