Dave Zamba has spent the last 25 years helping build Prosek Partners into one of the leading integrated marketing communications agencies serving the financial and professional services sectors. As creative director, Dave leads an award-winning team of digital strategists, content creators, designers and technical developers who build, strengthen and protect some of the world’s top brands.
He and his team have won numerous print and web design awards from a wide variety of sources, including GDUSA and Graphis. While he knows more than he ever thought he would about hedge funds, private equity, insurance and banking, Dave still manages to keep his inner Jimmy Buffett alive through his love for adventure travel, scuba diving, music, golf, cats, friends, family and a good bourbon. His previous experiences include a stint as an entrepreneur managing his own design firm, working for an advertising agency and then inhouse at a university. Formal training includes BFA degrees in both graphic design and illustration from the University of Bridgeport, and web and digital training at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Dave and his wife Roberta, both avid scuba divers, head for the Earth’s oceans every chance they get.
THE FUTURE OF THE GRAPHIC DESIGN BUSINESS?
Designers will continue to gain a presence at the table where business decisions are made, influencing systems, products and offerings through design thinking. Using strategic and predictive tools — and a high level of empathy — design is now fully integrated into the customer journey. Designers will continue to use data and technology to help clients inspire their customers and prospects, and to create an even stronger bond between the customer and the brand.
