KANSAS CITY ART INSTITUTE
Growing up in a city wedged between 30 miles of backroads, corn fields and small towns, I developed a taste for the unordinary. Particularly, I became interested in bohemian subcultures and alternative lifestyles, surrounding myself with like-minded people. I spent high school making, writing, painting, and tinkering. I found that the beauty of the human condition is encountered best in the multitude of our life experiences and in developing empathy for others. My life’s mission is to have as many different experiences as I can. This led me to pursue an education in a larger and more diverse place … I fell in love with studying design and the way design pushes me to consider and reimagine the world around me. As I move forward in my career, I simply hope to make something innovative in my quest to seek out new and unfamiliar experiences.
