Laura Angle

S. I. NEWHOUSE SCHOOL OF PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS, SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY

Laura Angle is a senior graphic design student at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. After taking a leap four years ago and switching her major to design, it turns out there is truly no other field she is more passionate about (besides maybe cooking). When on campus, Laura creative directs two student-run magazines, Baked and Equaltime, overseeing the editorials’ brand image while also managing the design, photo, and illustration staff. Additionally, this past year, she served as President for the Syracuse chapter of AIGA. This past summer, Laura worked as a design intern for Sports Illustrated on print, digital, and motion projects. Her other work experience includes digital designer at The Daily Orange, the independent student newspaper. When she isn’t working on the next project, Laura can be found sketching, attending concerts, and hunting for her new favorite coffee joint.
