Madeleine is a senior pursuing a BFA in Graphic Design (with a minor in Art History) at RISD. She makes brand identities, posters, and print publications with special attention to color relationships. Inspired by magic realism, tropical flora, and nostalgia, Madeleine intends her work to feature the full spectrum of human emotion and to challenge widely-accepted standards of beauty. She’s also a Leo from sunny Manila, Philippines

THE BEST THING ABOUT DESIGN SCHOOL?
We’re always encouraged to take risks and develop our own voice as designers. Not having to do calculus problems is also a nice bonus.
