HAVE THE CHALLENGES OF 2020 CHANGED HOW YOU THINK ABOUT GRAPHIC DESIGN AND DESIGNERS?

Yes. I believe that a huge part of the role as a graphic designer is creative problem solving. Up until this year, designers have had the luxury to create and problem solve within the world “as it’s always been.” Now, designers cannot afford to continue doing that. It is time for us to use our skills to design a new world that looks closer to what we want. For me, that is a world that is kinder, more joyful, compassionate, respectful, and celebratory of the diversity and beauty of all human beings
