Designit Names Christine Pizzo Head of Design and Creative in Americas

A Remit To Boost Creative Offerings

Designit, a Wipro-owned experience innovation agency, has bolstered its senior leadership team by appointing Christine Pizzo as its head of design and creative in the Americas. Pizzo will report to Laura Breines, Designit’s head of Americas, with a remit to strengthen the full-service, end to end offerings under design and creative, solving holistic brand and experience challenges from clients. Pizzo is the first appointment to be made by Breines since she took on the Americas role last Fall. Pizzo’s addition is part of a strategic move to boost creative offerings in the region by bringing together its full suite of services encompassing innovation consulting, creative agency, and design expertise.

Pizzo joins from a seven-year stint at Accenture Song, which she left as principal director and northeast market unit lead for digital production studios. Her roles included head of experience design for the Eastern Region. She has also previously held positions with Intrepid Pursuits, DigitasLBi, VCU Brandcenter, and Advertising Age, among others. Alongside her role at Designit, Pizzo is an adjunct professor of Human Interface Design at Tufts University and a digital experience advisory board member at The Idea Factory. She began her career as a journalist, editorial section and layout editor, and staff writer for The Tartan.
