Key Appointment In Growth Plan
CBX has promoted Satoru Wakeshima to Partner. In his new role, he will be asked to balance the present needs of clients as well as looking ahead. CBX marks its 20th anniversary this year, presenting an opportunity to not only celebrate the agency’s longevity but also a moment to consider the future of the business. Wakeshima, says the firm, will be integral to determining where CBX will go in the next 20 years.
Wakeshima started at the agency as the head of client services some 17 years ago, where he worked with CBX clients such as the J.M. Smucker Company, Del Monte, Keurig Dr Pepper, and Scotts Miracle Gro. He most recently served as Managing Director and Chief Engagement Officer, working with the partners and leadership team to develop CBX’s offerings and processes, establish and grow client relationships, and secure growth opportunities.
Wakeshima’s purview will include reinforcing CBX’s commitment to current clients as well as helping broaden their capabilities to attract new business. In partnership with new Principal Mark Christou — as well as CBX’s sister agencies (DX, Lonsdale, & Cowan) — he hopes to leverage his extensive experience to help lead the agency and stand out in a saturated marketplace.
