Jeffrey M. Williams

DIRECTOR OF DIGITAL MARKETING SOLUTIONS
THE WALKER GROUP, FARMINGTON CT

I’m Jeffery M. Williams, and my journey through the ever-evolving landscape of digital marketing solutions has been nothing short of an exhilarating adventure. It all started way back when I began as a production artist in a prominent Connecticut-based ad agency. Fast forward over two decades, and here I am, leading dynamic creative teams, leaving my mark on platforms like CBSSports.com and LEGO.com.

My current role as Director of Digital Marketing Solutions at The Walker Group in Farmington, CT, is where my passion for innovation and business strategy finds its perfect outlet. The Walker Group’s community commitment as a Benefit Corporation and Perpetual Purpose Trust-Owned Company deeply resonates with me, aligning seamlessly with my values and beliefs.

But my creative drive doesn’t punch out at the end of the workday (which, let’s be real, usually extends well beyond the usual hours!). I’ve dipped my toes into the fashion world with my own line, www.HOODē.co. It’s not just about clothing; it’s a platform I’ve built to challenge societal norms. HOODē.co stands for something bigger—erasing the stigma around mental health and encouraging openness and seeking help when needed.

My journey has always been about more than just professional success; it’s been about weaving together my passion for creativity, business, and making a positive impact on society. Being at the helm of a business that’s not only focused on success but also committed to creating social impact has been incredibly fulfilling.

So, whether it’s crafting innovative marketing solutions or championing mental health awareness through HOODē.co, my goal remains clear: to blend creativity with purpose and make a meaningful difference in the world.

As we pivot into a post-pandemic era marked by societal challenge and change, are you optimistic about the future of Graphic Design in supporting and shaping commerce, culture and causes? Why do you feel the way you do? Are you optimistic about the future of your own design career or business?

Exploring a world after the pandemic has truly revealed the incredible era we’re in. The sheer creativity displayed every day is astounding. The widespread adoption of QR codes has revolutionized commerce and advertising, altering their trajectory. This technology has afforded me a platform to increase awareness and extend passive support around mental health, an opportunity I might not have encountered otherwise. I’m genuinely excited about what lies ahead and can’t wait to witness the innovations on the horizon.
