WINNER OF 8TH ANNUAL PROGRAM WILL BE RECOGNIZED AT PRINT 17
The Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC) and Two Sides North America, co-sponsors of the annual Positively Print recognition program, announce that the award program is now open for nominations. In its eighth year, the program recognizes print advocacy campaigns that promote the enduring power and sustainability of print in the multi-channel media mix.
Intended to spotlight the variety of ways in which the effectiveness and sustainability of print are being promoted, the 2017 awardee will be recognized at the OUTLOOK 2017 conference on September 10, the opening day of PRINT 17 – the year’s most innovative and comprehensive graphic communications exhibition and conference in the Americas. PRINT 17 takes place September 10 – 14 in Chicago’s McCormick Place-South.
This year’s awardee will join a highly creative lineup of past winners that includes: Rolland Enterprises’ The Paper Loop magazine (2016); Sappi’s A Communicator’s Guide to the Neuroscience of Touch (2015); and IKEA’s Bookbook campaign (2014); among others. Submissions are being accepted through June 30.
“The Positively Print program was created to acknowledge creative and effective print advocacy campaigns within the entire graphic communications industry,” says Thayer Long, President of NPES. “Again this year, we want to demonstrate to companies involved in print that advocating for print can be done, and multiplies a powerful message that benefits our entire industry.”
