Multiple Museum Logos Explore The Power Of Play

Few parents realize how important play is for their children. This is the narrative that Executive Director of the Providence Children’s Museum, Caroline Payson, hopes to communicate to her community – and the guide for NAIL Communication’s efforts to refresh the museum’s brand. “Traditionally, businesses need one logo,” says NAIL creative partner Brian Gross. “But as we dug in and began to understand the importance of play’s many faces, we realized that Providence Children’s Museum needed more logos. 18 to be specific.”

Each of the 18 unique “PCM” anagram designs features distinct feats of imagination and ways that play can be embraced by children. The new identity can be seen within the Museum, as well as on their new website developed by Imaj Associates. Headquartered in Providence RI, NAIL is a creative consultancy specializing in advertising, design and branding communications.
