Anton Tielemans of Tielemans Design has created a logo design for Dana Finkelstein, an American professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour. The symbol was designed to be used on specific areas of clothing and Finkelstein’s golf equipment so as not to interfere with placement of her sponsors’ logos.
The logo integrates the letter “D” and forms it into the shape of a golf flag. A stylized “F” aims to suggest an upward motion and energy. Another subtle element in the design is the reflection of a point or corner of the Star of David, representing a nod to Finkelstein’s family heritage.
Tielemans has been a leader in visual art, brand management, and digital and print innovations for over 30 years. He has been recognized by International Visual Identity Awards, Logo Lounge, The Communication Awards, Graphis International Design Competitions, and, of course, Graphic Design USA.
