Langton Creative Group (LCG), a digital design and branding firm based in New York City, has a new brand and website celebrating Progress by Design. David Langton, president of LCG says, “The most successful businesses put design at the forefront. Design is not something you do after the fact, it’s baked into the DNA of successful companies. Whether it’s Apple, Google or IBM, when design is central to the mission of your company you grow to embrace change and lead innovation.” The firm is emphasizing how creative services must be strategic and integrated into your company’s mission. The new website highlights how design thinking, storytelling and digital capabilities produce results for clients. LCG was founded as Langton Cherubino Group in 1995. The firm has won over 75 design awards to-date including 25 GDUSA American Graphic Design Awards, 20 Communicator Awards and a Sappi Ideas That Matter $10,000 grant.
More Than Just A Redesign
Instead of merely re-designing the old website, the firm threw everything out and reevaluated all of their projects. Jim Keller, design director at LCG summed up the approach as, “We saved a lot of hours and heartache by working to replace the concept of garbage in, garbage out, with gourmet in, gourmet out.” The result is a robust site with story-based case studies, featuring client-results in three targeted areas of focus: Financial Services, Health & Wellness and Community Building.
