Langton Creative Group Rebrands With A New Purpose

Langton Creative Group (LCG), a digital design and branding firm based in New York City, has a new brand and website celebrating Progress by Design. The new website  highlights how design thinking, storytelling and digital capabilities produce results for clients. LCG was founded as Langton Cherubino Group in 1995. The firm has won over 75 design awards to-date including 25 GDUSA American Graphic Design Awards, 20 Communicator Awards and a Sappi Ideas That Matter $10,000 grant.

More Than Just A Redesign

Instead of merely re-designing the old website, the firm threw everything out and reevaluated all of their projects. Jim Keller, design director at LCG summed up the approach as, “We saved a lot of hours and heartache by working to replace the concept of garbage in, garbage out, with gourmet in, gourmet out.” The result is a robust site with story-based case studies, featuring client-results in three targeted areas of focus:  Financial Services, Health & Wellness and Community Building.

Founder David Langton is author of Visual Marketing (Wiley) and teaches communication design at Hostos College/CUNY. Jim Keller, design director at LCG for 15 years, has designed award-winning solutions for Deloitte, Pfizer and MetLife. Jenny Christopherson, senior designer, led the website redesign and recently designed the South Bronx Rising Together Progress for the Children’s Aid Society.
