Equator has appointed Graeme Williams as Creative Director in the UK. With more than 20 years’ experience in brand and retail strategy, visual storytelling, art direction and packaging creation, Williams brings extensive knowledge and a multifaceted skill set to the Equator team.
Williams spent six years at M&S, across diverse categories from the Food Hall to ladies’ fashion, creating packaging, seasonal campaigns and in-store communication. From this grounding in packaging and promotional campaigns, he joined the French Connection Group as Head of Graphics, working on all four of their brands during an eight year tenure before moving to Monsoon Accessorize.His most recent position as Design Director at Hotel Chocolat saw him bring the Design Team’s perspective to all areas of new product development. Taken together, this experience paved the way for Williams’ role at Equator, where he will be looking after a major supermarket client, along with other clients, and working with the UK team in Nottingham and Manchester.
