Siegel+Gale Gets Credit For Branding Personal Finance Firm

Fresh, News January 12, 2017January 19, 2017 Ilana Greenberg

Global brand strategy firm Siegel+Gale has helped rebrand Credit Karma. The design firm modernized the visual identity with a new logo that conveys Credit Karma’s commitment to helping people build their financial future through personalized. Key components include a friendly professional wordmark with a bright, optimistic color palette built around Karma Green; an upward movement of the K’s arm suggesting improvement in customers’ financial health and  financial future; and a typographic layout that easily translates into a friendly shorthand for flexibility.

“Credit Karma needed to visually connect with members and consumers in a way that signaled their commitment to being helpful,” said Matthias Mencke, group creative director, Siegel+Gale. “It was less about being a credit score company and more about demonstrating positive upward momentum for members by helping them get ahead of their finances.” The personal finance company reportedly has more than 60 million members across the U.S.
