Scott Starrett is co-founder and creative director at Tandem in New York City. As a child, Scott was fascinated by the notion that everything in the man-made world results from a series of ideas and choices. He realized human beings were making it up as they went along… and he wanted in. On the cutting edge of using graphic design to advocate for social and political change, Scott’s work was instrumental in the surprising election to Congress of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Scott sits down with GDUSA editor Gordon Kaye to take stock of his journey from Kansas to Austin to NYC and what it might mean for the denizens of Washington DC.
