CARNEGIE MELLON UNIVERSITY
Jaclyn Saik is a junior concentrating in Communication Design and minoring in Human-Computer Interaction. She is passionate about robust design systems, expressive typography in both physical and digital spaces, and any project that pushes her to explore what it means to be human. Recently, she’s been especially curious about designing for learning, and has been focusing on using conditional and participatory design methods to tell and understand stories. When she’s not bound to her studio, Jaclyn gets to lead a talented team of print designers for Lunar Gala, Pittsburgh’s largest annual fashion show. In her free time, she likes running outside, drinking really good coffee with her really great friends, and downloading the free trial versions of all the beautiful typefaces she can’t afford.
