Lydia Shemurah

KANSAS CITY ART INSTITUTE

A senior at the Kansas City Art Institute, Lydia Shemurah’s minimalist tendencies, passion for physical methods, and tech-driven aesthetic are her primary tools when designing apps and infographics. She’s fascinated with psychology and it informs what she makes, especially when she’s working in the digital, product development, and user experience realms. She’s received the Jan Tschichold Award for Experimental Typography and completed internships with Southwestern Stationery, Freestyle Creative and Sagac Public Affairs. When she has free time, she writes personal prose and plays video games.
