WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL INSPIRED?
Discovering the connections between us and the environment we interact with.
WHAT AREA OR AREAS OF DESIGN ARE YOU HOPING TO WORK IN OR SPECIALIZE IN?
I’m hoping to work with typography, especially in editorial/layout. I enjoy working within the constraints of the page.
WHAT IS ONE THING THAT DESIGN SCHOOL HAS TAUGHT YOU THAT YOU DID NOT EXPECT?
How to deal with imposter syndrome and self-comparison. Especially with social media, it can be tempting to compare your work to others and, in turn, make you feel as if you’re falling behind. What has helped me is reminding myself that I am not behind, that I am exactly where I need to be—all while knowing that I have room to grow.
