Rolland’s Paper Loop Wins Graph Expo Positively Print Awards

The Paper Loop, a promotional document from Rolland under the guise of a magazine for paper aficionados, is the 2016 winner of the annual Positively Print award at Graph Expo 16. The piece, which promotes the virtues and high-impact value of print to creative designers, printers, advertisers, and corporate communicators, was designed by Alezane Design & Com Inc.  It provides readers with an assortment of information about the processes of paper production and printing, news about the industry, measures being taken to protect the environment, and related topics.

“Rolland Enterprises Inc.’s engaging and informational magazine not only portrays the impact of print through real-world success stories from major international companies that have effectively integrated print into their communications, but also puts ‘front and center’ the facts about sustainability as well as measures being taken to protect the environment,” said NPES President Thayer Long. Long co-announced the award immediately prior to the opening of Graph Expo 16 which runs September 25–28 at the Orange County Convention Center-North in Orlando FL.

This is the seventh year for the Positively Print award which recognizes an organization that promotes the power, sustainability, and effectiveness of print. “We want to showcase companies that effectively advocate for print,” said award co-presenter Phil Reibel, President of Two Sides North America. “Rolland Enterprises Inc.’s magazine is an outstanding example of such advocacy.” Recent past Positively Print winners include: (2015) Sappi North America/A Communicator’s Guide to the Neuroscience of Touch, (2014); IKEA/Bookbook” Campaign; (2013) Sappi Fine Paper North America/PRINT & Book; (2012) PrintCity/PRINT!
