Follow the brand’s acquisition by Inspire Brands earlier this year, Buffalo Wild Wings, the largest sports bar brand in the US, sought to develop a new playbook described as “delivering a game time experience worth sharing.” Enlisting the help of global creative consultancy Interbrand, Buffalo Wild Wings’ debuted a new logo as a first step toward refocusing the sports bar experience across its system of more than 1,200 restaurants.
The logo is a contemporary take on the traditional mark, and adds flexibility with multiple versions that can be used horizontally or vertically across a range of media. Several visual touchpoints help bring the brand to life, including capturing the story of a winged buffalo, dubbed The Buffalore, and spotlighting the range of sauces available.
