Each year, the Alliance for Innovation produces a conference focused on innovation in local government to connect government and municipal innovators from across the country. The event features world-class thought leaders like Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak, local government legends, and up and coming talent and explores everything from social change to public safety to resilient infrastructure.
To energize and reimagine the conference as a festival of ideas, Seattle-based creative agency Okaybro has rebranded the logo and conference materials – poster, t-shirts, video, keynote fundraising doc – for the newly named Govapalooza. Not your traditional approach to a conference for municipal leaders, the work was inspired by rock posters to get younger people engaged and capture the new energy for and interest in government and community participation.
